Potato cake

Chapter 4
Potato cake:
Ingredients
For the pine:
400 g of minced or ground meat (post, loin, seat)
1 onion
1 garlic clove
½ cup of sultanas (the yellow ones)
salt / pepper / cumin or full dressing
½ cup meat broth (natural or a cube dissolved in water)
For the filling :
2 boiled eggs
8 large black olives (or Azapa olives if you like)
4 small pieces of cooked chicken (optional)
For the mash :
8 to 10 large potatoes or (1 to 2 sachets of mashed powder according to the instructions on the box)
About 1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of butter
salt
4 tbsp. granulated sugar (for browning)
Step by step
First the pine : If you use minced meat, cut it into small cubes and put them in a frying pan with a few drops of olive oil. If you use ground meat it is not necessary to add oil as this meat is always a little more fatty.
Add the onion cut in fine cubes and stir. Continue to add the ground garlic and season with salt, pepper and full dressing.
Stir everything well, add the raisins and the meat broth. Lower the heat and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Once ready, let it rest in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours so that the flavors integrate well. You can also prepare it the night before and it will be even tastier!
For the mash : Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into cubes and steam them until they are soft. If you don't steam them, don't cut them, just peel them so that they don't fill up with water. When they are cooked, remove the water and in the same pot move them with a hand mixer or mash them with the mashing tool, add the milk, butter and season with salt to your liking. As a tip, I use the whisk, that's how we do it in restaurants in France and it works very well and with a very homemade texture. Reserve while you finish the rest.
To make the cake: Divide the pine tree in 4 bowls or in a large baking pan, add one chicken nugget per serving, two olives, ½ egg and cover with the mash.
Sprinkle granulated sugar (optional) on all sides and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
