Working Against Time
Chapter 5
Today I decided to stop in to see Professor McGonagal about going into the Restricted Section of the library. She asked me why I needed to go there and I simply told her, "I want to take more classes." Of course, she signed the form, looking at me suspiciously. So I went up to the Restricted Section and searched for a book about Time Turners. I found what I was looking for in the book, "Time and Time Again". I turned to the page about making a Time Turner. I read the passage.
When you are making a Time Turner, you must have gloves on. This is very important as the Sands of Time might get in-between your nails!
I skipped over to the part where you actually start to make it.
1. Mold the gold into an hourglass shape and put the sands in.
I went back to the ingredients.
A pinch of sand from every age in time.
Gold from the vault at Gringotts.
...
I realized that this was going to take a while.
....
I walked to my normal spot at the Three Broomsticks. Professor McGonagal had made a group where she would teach them anything they wanted to know for those students who wanted to take more classes. She called it the Time Catchers club (club #27608), after I told her how I had tried, and failed to make a Time Turner so that I could take more classes. When I told her, she had just smiled and made the announcement for the opening of the club. She told me that you did not have to turn time to learn more, you just needed to grasp it.
