SEVERUS SNAPE
Chapter 3
SEVERUS SNAPE
Severus Snape was to spend just a few months as a carefree 20-year-old. Before the death of his beloved sister. He took a small child into his arms and without realising it he decided there and then that he had to become his niece’s carer. Her provider and protector. Severus Snape had no intentions of becoming a parent. Lily Evans, his one true love had married James Potter and had a son. Harry Potter. He didn’t wish for that to become his life because he felt that he had lost what chance remained for him when Lily married James. But now he had a little girl that needed him, that looked up to him. His life was to centre around her. A little girl that had lost her mother. He got himself a stable job. A Professor at Hogwarts. He had wanted to become Defence against the Dark Arts Professor but Dumbledore warned him about it and offered that of potions master instead. He also became Head of Slytherin. He did the best he could with the child, hid her, cared for her, taught her, all this whilst teaching his own students. A young man that had hardly anything, but gave everything. Life for the Snape family was a steady role. His 20s you could say was preparing his niece for Hogwarts, and in my very biased opinion he did a wonderful job.
