SEVERINA SNAPE
Chapter 2
SEVERINA SNAPE
My mother died when she was in her 20s, she spent most of that time in a small house in the West Midlands with a young child, between Birmingham and Manchester. She lived to just 23 years old. She joined the Young Death Eaters (although never was marked with a dark mark) before she had finished at Hogwarts. Most Slytherins and many others were hearing of his power and decided to join. She was unusual among Gryffindors as most of them joined the Order of the Phoenix. How fast her relationship accumulated with Voldemort I don’t really want to think about. Who, wants to think about their parents in that way? To cut the story short they were actually married in a simple secret ceremony and I was born only 2 years before she died. She spent her 20s as a loving mother, accepting of his ways and ready for a time when they could be together. The nine months of protection she gave me before hand would ensure my life afterwards. She died on the evening of the 16th December 1980. It was a very dark time anyway given the circumstances of the 1st wizarding war but where she lived was a dark place too. Appropriate you may say.
