Mermish And Merpeopls Magic Abillities.

Chapter 6

"Merpeople speaks a particularly special language called Mermish. It can be only speak under the water and not is plain air for it will sounds like a unbearable screech. I thank Tobias Barns, who was my translator during all this study. He who speak fluently Mermich managed to make the whole experience much more easy and enjoyable. Only a very few Merfolks speak human language, and its not necessarily English, French or German."

Mermish, also called Tongue of the Water Beings, is a very special language for it can only be spoke under the water. If not, it sounds like an horrible and unbearable screeching. Although, when spoken correctly under the water surface, the whole conversation turn into a beautiful and soothing song. Never in a life it is given to hear such thing as the Mermish. The learning of this particular tongue is not easy. Long time under the water surface is needed to practice, unless you desire your ears completely destroyed.

"It has been asked and asked again by the Magizoolgic community if, like Centaurs, Merfolks were able to perform any form of magic or if they have magic abilities. Although, all the merfolks I met refuse to wield a magic wand. and so, it has been impossible for me to know if they can perform any kind of magic. but I am more then sure they posses innate magic abilities. And to be more precise, I am talking about the mermaid songs."

Through the ages, many have reported sailors crashing and sinking with their ships after hearing the charming melody of the the singing mermaids. And it has been studied that Muggles are more weak to the mesmerizing song than those possessing magic blood. The reason is still unknown. Some sunken ships even became the living territories of Merfolk clans. It is unknown if they did it in purpose. what were song to "lure sailors" could have simply been a plain conversation between two merfolks.
