Evening
Chapter 4
Accalia's evening wasn't fun. She made up her usual excuses to everyone and they left her to it.
"Where are you going?" Fred asked her.
"Um, hospital wing," Accalia replied.
"Why?" asked George. "You go there about once a month."
Accalia nodded with a "seriously?" look on her face. She also plastered a look of embarrassment on her face. It was easier to come up with werewolf excuses if you were a girl.
"Oh," Fred went bright red. "Bye!"
Accalia scurried off to the hospital wing.
"How are you today?" Pomfrey asked her favourite patient. She was very close to Accalia, as you would be to a student who comes here so often.
"As good as can be expected," Accalia replied. Pomfrey smiled sympathetically at the girl. "I don't want sympathy!"
"I know," Pomfrey said. She fed the girl the Wolfsbane potion. Accalia pulled a face at the bitterness of it, wishing sugar didn't make it useless. Pomfrey walks me down to the shack and leaves her there. "Bye Cal."
"Bye, PomPom," Accalia said. Once she's left, the transformation begins. Painful, but not nearly as painful as it should be. As it usually is for her. Wolf-Accalia howls and cries before she curls up in a ball to fall asleep. Poor Moonsweet. (Her marauder name)
In the morning, Accalia sighs and trudges up to the castle. She will forever be eternally grateful for the creation of wolfsbane, that morning, she had no new scars.
