Chapter 3
As Accalia was sat in her own compartment, she wondered who'd join her. Her best friend was never on the train. Lilian Black, her BFF, was an orphan. Orphaned by McGonagall. She had a few other friends, but Lilian was the only friend she trusted. She trusted Lili with her big secret.
"Er- excuse me," a boy at the compartment door said. "Hi. Er- do you mind if I- er- come in?"
Accalia looked up to see that the boy was Harry. She noticed he looked exactly like James did in all of her dad's photos of him. Apart from the eyes. They were Lily's eyes. Accalia looked exactly like her dad, she'd never even met her mum.
She broke into a massive grin and ran up to Harry to embrace him in a hug.
"Er- who are you?" Harry asked.
"Accalia," Accalia responded promptly. "But you've always called me Acca so I'd prefer that."
"Do I know you?" Harry asked.
"Yes," Accalia said. "We played together as babies."
"Oh. Okay," Harry said but Accalia could tell he was quite weirded out. They spent the rest of the journey catching up on things and learning about Ron Weasley, Harry's new friend. Accalia knew the Weasley family well so it didn't surprise her that Ron was joining. Accalia was reasonably close to the Weasley twins but she didn't quite trust them with anything much. They were too much about the fun.
Accalia was sat at her house table, waiting for her little brother to be sorted. He was quite the hatstall.
"Gryffindor!" the hat finally shouted. I cheered along with everyone else. Harry looked quite shaken but pleased all the same. During the feast, his eyes widened in wonder, it made Accalia wonder how bad the Dursleys had been to him.
"Harry, I have something to tell you," Accalia finally said, at some point after the feast.
"Yeah?" Harry asked.
"I'm a werewolf."
Harry's smile faltered. He looks scared.
"But Harry! Werewolves aren't like they are in muggle books! We turn at the full moon and I get locked up so that everyone's safe when I transform."
Then comes the pity. Harry looks at Accalia with eyes full of pity. Accalia's always hated pity, there's nothing worse.
