Chapter 5
By the 1st November I was eating solids. Still no magic but I was doing well. When the Christmas Holidays came, I went to be with the Weasleys. It was obvious that Mrs Weasley had had an even fuller letter than usual about my diet plan and how I was only to eat certain things at certain times. She really too it to heart because she had made a special concoction, been to St Mungo’s to ask questions and done as much research as she possibly could. Unfortunately, I had been eating normally for ages. Fred and George found it hilarious but I didn’t want to let her down after she had gone to so much trouble so I just smiled.

I was so happy to see my uncle come and see us on Christmas day. He had made my excuses for me about midwinter. It was understood that crossing realms when you have been sick just isn’t common sense.
Well, that’s my story. I hope you have gained something from it. Mainly, DON’T LIE. DON’T TRY TO BE SOMEONE YOU ARE NOT. EVEN MAGIC TAKES TIME TO HEAL.

If you understand about me in general, you know that I find it difficult to regulate my body temperature anyway. Having no fat on me, no muscle on me meant that I could regulate it even less. Performing magic meant that I was endangering myself and the people around me.
