Chapter 12
I follow Renè, after that awkward moment. It’s getting late, so I reckon she’ll probably go to sleep when we get back. Then again, Ron complains she hardly sleeps and isn’t her usual shy self when it comes to staying up late. I sigh slightly and look at her. I smile to myself, knowing now would be a perfect chance to say something. “So...what are you planning on doing this weekend?” I ask, in attempt to start a conversation. Renè shrugged. “Nothing. Maybe goofing off with Ron, but nothing.” she said. I nod and push the thought out of my mind. “Ummm do you maybe...Uhh never mind.” I stutter. She looks at me, confused. “Huh?” she asked. I shake my head and shrug. She slowed down slightly so we were walking next to each other. I bit the inside of my lip, trying not to turn red. I accidentally (Alright, Maybe purposely) brushes my arm against her. She blushed a bright blush and bit her lip harshly. I turned my head to face her and she stopped walking. I stopped walking also. We stared at each other for who knows how long. One thing was for sure, our blushing was so bright I could practically feel the heat from our faces as we stood there. I took a step closer to her, but she didn’t react one bit.
