Watchers

Chapter 11

What I call 'watchers' are basically taken from the idea of gargoyles watching over a place...

Absolutely ANYTHING can become a watcher so long as it has a face and or eye(s) .. toys, sculpture, paintings, etc.

A few ideal watchers would be shrunken heads, dragon sculpture or toys, or masks on the wall.

Shrunken Heads were used not only as talismans for tribes, but also as watchers- warding off evil spirits and specific targets it was asked to ward against.

Dragons are good at guarding treasure so if you have many precious things in your room it would be good to enchant a dragon to watch over its newfound 'lair'

there is a spell I have created long ago that will enchant a target to become a watcher.

With your eyes, watch o'er this place. Protect all and whom are in this space. With your gaze, strike heavy fear and make certain -send away any face unwelcome here. Allow passage of those I call friends, of those I call family. Watch o'er, guard, protect this place. Amen!

It would be beneficial of waving your wand around the target clockwise and when you are done saying 'place' and before or as you say 'amen' swipe the wand away and point it around the area sweeping the whole place in one swish of the wand. When the spell is done keep that item in that room. If you choose to remove it it will automatically break the spell for that room- you must hold onto the energy of the spell in your minds eye with the watcher to watch over a new location- if you don't you must repeat the spell.

What this all does is it creates a sense of protection and being guarded in your area.
