What is it like to publish this newspaper everyday?


This is a question that was asked to me. I am Beezer Granger, as you probably have guessed by now (if you have read the previous issues) and I am the publisher of the HDN. I mean, the Hogwarts Daily News is an amazing newspaper and it is now part of my day. I love it! I think that it's articles are incredible and creative! It is super fun to publish the newspaper. I learned how to code with Hermione Potter Granger’s “Backstory Coding Tutorial”. I firstly decided to code my backstory and liked it very much. I have to code to manage to publish our wonderful issues as they are and it is fun to make new arrangements and tests of colors, fonts, etc… I mean, I love to code and being the publisher of this newspaper allows me to do it! I get to read all of the articles before they are published and I get some contact with the interns writings, allowing me to see who works more and harder and who should be promoted. I also receive a lot of messages with questions, being the most frequent “What do I have to do to join the HDN?”. I would love if you (yes...YOU, the reader) can give me suggestions on how to edit the newspaper to make it more fun to the eye and more comprehensible to read! So owl me and I’ll see what I can do! Huffleclaw: A group


This is a group for those Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws that want to hang out. This amazing group was created by Einstein Rao. Godric Gryffindor


Godric Gryffindor was one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The legendary Sorting Hat used for sorting ceremonies used to be owned by Godric himself!
Godric's Hollow (Harry Potter’s birth place) was named after Godric. Godric Gryffindor the founder of Gryffindor house, after whom it’s named. A possession of Godric was his sword which was used twice when Harry killed the Basilisk and Neville used it to slay Nagini, Voldemort’s snake.


Founder of Hogwarts:

Godric, along with his companions, was said to be the four most brilliant witches and wizards of all time. Godric founded Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Godric’s portrait depicts him as tall, muscular man with a lion like mane of wavy red hair and a beard to match. He had green eyes and a peach colored skin.

Wizard jobs


Since the time I’ve been on HiH, I have been introduced to a whole lot of new and fascinating jobs that users have taken up quite recently. The most popular ones would probably be aurors, quidditch players, magizoologists (or young magizoologists), healers or simply a Hogwarts professor! Some users even have their own shops which they maintain, so here’s another exciting job for users to take up. If you are looking for an interesting job, then you can just join a shop (group) or any department and ask if there is an empty spot for you fill up. And that way, you will be able to earn a few or more galleons in no time! You could even join the HDN if you wanted! So pay attention to your DADA, Transfiguration and Potions classes to become a well-respected auror or take extra quidditch practices to become a great player!

The HiH Quidditch League


The HiH Quidditch League is unlike any other on HiH. Instead of trivia, like some other Leagues use, or having to reload the page constantly, players use Discord to interact on the field. Created by Eslanda Autumn and a no longer active user, and run by Autumn with the help of Starlee Kennedy, this League is one of the best on the site! Matches take place every week, and are fast paced, fun to play and watch!

Fun Fact


We don’t know much about Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. So, today, we’re going to tell you a fun fact about Beauxbatons! There is a magnificent fountain located in the middle of the park at Beauxbatons. The fountain is said to have healing and beautifying powers. It is named for Nicolas Flamel, and his wife, Perenelle.
