Please cry, please tell them how you are feeling. Don’t hold it inside forever. You have friends that want to help and family that are worried. You know it is something that you have been through before, and you can do it again. Smile when you can.

To Louisa (aged 18, fighting to stay alive but not knowing where to go,)
Years ago, what wouldn’t we have given to have had this chance? To be able to look him in the eye and hear him say our name? I know it isn’t the way we imagined it but I think we just have to keep going. Rise above the immense pain that comes with a curse and be the brave person that we know we can be. Struggles come and struggles go. Nature as we know has its way of working.
