Problem P: Pansy Parkinson
Chapter 1
Carlotta went back to the common room the next day, her eyes wide open. Pansy was placing glittering dust in her cupped hands. Carlotta spotted the suitcase, next to Pansy. "Oh no.." Carlotta murmured. "The sorcerer's stone dust!" Carlotta said, slightly louder but loud enough for Pansy to hear. Pansy stared at her. She obviously did not know whatever was so important with that dust. "I-I mean, it's for a class; and essay for um.. history of magic.." Carlotta corrected, her eyed still on Pansy. She was tired of lying but she had no choice. "Oh is this yours?" Pansy asked Carlotta, the light draining from her face as she watched Carlotta come closer. "Y-yes." Carlotta snapped instantly, and ran with the dust and the suitcase. "OUCH!" She bumped into Draco and they fell down the stairs. Draco reached for the diary, but something pulled him back. It wasn't just Draco, but it pulled Carlotta as well. A dark, shadowy figure stood in front of them both; a creature best identified as a "Snape." (♪Snape Snape, Severus Snape♪) Snape held the suitcase and the dust in his hands, looking quite pleased. He walked away with the things, and Draco and Carlotta were still pulled back. "Where are we?" Asked Draco, not focusing on the fact that Snape had ruined everything. "The room of requirement.." Carlotta said, grouchily. "Snape told me about it.." Carlotta said, most unpleased. "many people don't know about it. It can turn into whatever you like once you really need it.. Snape must've wished for a dungeon." Carlotta explained. "What if we wish for an escape to this room? We really need it." Draco said. Carlotta and Draco tried, but nothing happened. "We really need it, but if nothing happens then there must be another way to escape, without the room.." Carlotta said. She focused on the chains, and then her face lit up. "Draco, you got me an idea!" "I-i did..?" Carlotta pulled out her wand and exclaimed, "Alohamora!" Two great doors opened up, and Draco and Carlotta walked outside quickly, before the room disappeared. Draco stared at Carlotta."So um.. Carlotta?" "Hm?" "Will you- will you go to the yule ball with me?" Draco asked awkwardly. Carlotta stared at the ground before she could answer. "..." "Yes.." Draco smiled. Carlotta smiled. "No one but Snape knows about 'it.' Draco broke the silence. "Pansy, Pansy knows;" Carlotta said miserably. "I swear, I didn't tell her." "I trust you." Draco said quickly. Carlotta stared at Draco confused. "Okay then." "Guess there's Problem P: Pansy Parkinson."
