Dragons are probably the most famous of all magical beasts and among the most difficult to hide, they play a large role in my life and have done for a very long time so I hope to be able to tell you a little about them. Females are, generally larger and more aggressive than the males, though neither should be approached by anyone other than highly skilled and trained wizards. We as wizards and witches use them in all manner of ways.

DRAGON HIDE: If you have studied magic in any form you will have most likely will have been in need of dragon hide gloves. We use them for Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures & Alchemy, to name a few. It is very tough and highly protective.

DRAGON BLOOD: It was Albus Dumbledore that discovered the twelve different uses for Dragon’s blood.

DRAGON HEART, LIVER, HORN: If you are going to use a part of an animal you should use as much as you can. Waste not want not. These are precious creatures and all parts here have highly magical properties.

DRAGON EGGS: Eggs are defined as a Class A Non-Tradeable Good. If you do not want a hefty fine from the Ministry and a possible prison sentence, I would tell you to stay clear of dragon eggs. Each breed of dragon produces a different coloured egg.
