I Will Not Be Silenced
Chapter 2
When you speak up for what is right, sometimes those who commit the wrongs you speak out against try to silence you. They might threaten you or your loved ones. They might make fun of you. They might laugh at you or insult you or hurt you. They will try to stamp out your voice.
Speaking up is important. Speaking out against injustice and wrongdoing are our duties as human beings to our fellow people. Speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves is the right thing to do.
You might get hate for it. You will get berated, put down, threatened, slammed. They will try to silence you.
Be louder than the hate. Let your words of love resonate and inspire. Use the power of speech and the power of writing and spread your message of love and acceptance. Spread peace and compromise. Spread harmony and straighten the discord.
Never let them silence what is right.
