Chapter 3
So many moments in life shone out to her as periods that she wanted to change, reverse or undo. Perhaps I can help Harry she thought. If nothing changed. Perhaps I can stop his parents dyeing. Stop Sirius being put in Azkaban. She made her way to Godrics Hollow the way Harry had described it and the fact it still showed the scars of the attack, it wasn’t difficult to find she took the time-turner and turned it.
It was 30th October 1981. Severina Snape was dead. She thought to herself. “If talking had been such a powerful tool with my mother then could I use it with my father?” She found the house. She entered the house and a man very much like Harry came running at her.
“Are you James Potter?” she asked “He is coming. I will try and stop him but you are good brave people please remember that. Tell your son he is loved” He looked very puzzled but thought that he recognised something in her eyes.
“Severina? I thought you were dead!” he says
“She is. I’m her daughter.” She holds out the time-turner and goes outside to wait.
From inside there is a lot of commotion all you can hear is James and Lily trying to get things together, saying things to their son of love and devotion. But it isn’t long before a man in a dark cloak turns up.
“Tom,
You don’t have to do this. You don’t have to kill their son.
Not like this. Don’t hurt our daughter, Tom.”
He stood dumbfounded at the gates of the property. He looked at me. Able to see that it was not my mother.
Possibly, me thought it was someone posing as her or playing a joke. Father stop!” she yelled. At that point he turned. She could no longer take everyone shouting. “she can’t lose everyone. And that includes you!”
It must have looked as though she just disappeared because she hardly got to say anything when the world started spinning. When she got back, everything was back to normal. It seemed as though nothing had changed in the slightest. The same people were born, married and died.
