I continued to write letters, but I never got any responses. I found the daily prophet on my doorstep about a month after I got the "Letter." On the front page, there was a picture of a bunch of death eaters lead by Voldemort. Behind him was Ellie, now a black ghost who looked miserable. She just kept floating on like she was cursed to have a frown on her face. I felt so bad. Underneath there was an article that said Voldemort had freed her because she was so miserable and he couldn't kill her again. Then there was a picture of her watching over Hogwarts with Dumbledore's ghost. Now I felt so happy.
