"Hang on a minute,
guys!" Rae stopped suddenly, and began to dig around in her bag, "If
we are going to Professor Quilmane's office, this is my chance." Rae
pulled a handful of photographs out of her bag. The other girls gathered to
look at the photographs, but were rather perplexed.

"What's this?"
asked Apolline, looking over her shoulder. Aranya stood on her toes to try and
get a better view and when she saw what it was she burst out laughing.

"Oh my gosh,"
Adelaide said, laughing. "These are the 'eyeful' photos that Professor
Wolfe took when we went on that field trip to Stonehenge with Professors
Starfight and Polgara. Professor Wolfe didn't know how to use a camera, so she
ended up taking pictures of her eye! Aren't they wonderful?" 

"Ha! And don't forget
about the 'raingoat,'" Rae snickered. 

"Teeheehee, the
raingoat," Adelaide giggled. "We were told to bring raincoats since
it would be quite rainy the day of the field trip. Professor Wolfe brought a
muggle amulet that looked like a goat, and called it a raingoat!" 

"I wish I could have
gone! It looks like you all had fun, or at least it would if they weren't all
pictures of her eye! " Anne giggled. 

"But the pictures of
her eye do look nice..." Adelaide said.

"That must have been
awesome! I wish I could have gone with you girls. But when my uncle heard we
were put against a sphinx during the last field trip, he forbade me to ever go
on another field trip until I'm of age...Hey, Professor Wolfe has nice
eyes!" Apolline exclaimed.

Aranya stood up straighter
and took a breath to calm her laughing. "Well it's not like it was a REAL
sphinx though. Just Professor Quilmane being all sneaky."

"So, anyway,"
Rae interrupted, "I got my hands on the pictures, to make a movie with.
And then I had this great idea - you know how Professor Quilmane is known as
"The Eye," and all? Well, what if we decorate his office with these?
Like all over the walls?"

"And the
ceiling!"

"YES!"

"Why so loud, Rae?
You know we could get caught out here and then we would have more detentions!
Let's just hurry up and get this over with!" Adelaide whispered.

Anne looked worried,
"I don't know, are you sure we won't get in more trouble? I don't want to
lose my Head Girl status."

"Nah... it will be
fine. Professor Q is such a sport about jokes; how much trouble could we
possibly get into, anyway?" 

"What if we get
expelled!! That would be worse than anything! You girls go do it, I will stay
in the hall and watch out for the professors, and maybe I can redirect
them." 

"Probably not a good
idea, Anne." Aranya said. "You're supposed to be in the classroom as
well. If you're out here redirecting them, you could very well wind up with
more detentions! And then we'd be busted too!"

"I will just tell
them I was looking for them, to get clarification on the essay," stated
Anne. 

Rae shook her head.
"No, no, that will never work! She's going to have to come with us! We
need to go, now!"

The quintet made their way
quickly down the corridor and around the corner. Professor Quilmane's office
wasn't too far from the Potions room, so they didn't have far to go. Still
though, because of their excitement and nerves, they arrived breathless and
practically fell through the door. 

"Lollies right ahead
girls!" said Apolline. "He's not even hiding them! I would ! I would
be too afraid that people like..well like us...would break into my office to
steal them! Oh look, he even has anise-flavoured lollies!"

Aranya glanced at the door
as they walked through. "Do you guys even realize that the door wasn't
locked, or are y'all too caught up in your shenanigan to notice it's
weird?" She muttered mostly to herself though she meant it for the group.
Unfortunately, no one heard her comment, and she was left to dwell on her
thoughts by herself.

"Rae, do you have
your magic glue of doom with you to hang the pictures?" Apolline asked.

Rae let out a rather
Slytherin-like chuckle. "Of course I have it... I always come
prepared!"
