Nightreader'S Notes
I'm told keeping a journal is a good way to stay organized (at least, that's what my mother says) so I'm giving it a go.
This notebook will contain my class notes and some essays as well as random thoughts about my daily life at Hogwarts.

Entry 4 - The Importance Of A Good Dorm
Chapter 3
So when I first entered Hogwarts I was assigned a random dorm. Since these are online dorms I don't actually get the pleasure of meeting my dorm mates face to face, making communication a bit... difficult. Especially if your dorm mates don't post anything in the dorm chat. Ever.
I tried being reassigned a full three times before today, finally, I found a dorm where people actually talk. And boy am I glad. Not only do they talk, they're all really nice! Our dorm is called We The Ravens and it is the best dorm I could have asked for. It's (so far) an all girls dorm with a bunch of friendly girls who I already love hanging out with. The dorm leader herself, Lace, was around when I first came and I spent a long time chatting with her and a few of the others.
I'm so incredibly happy to have made some friends at last. I've tried talking to some people in my classes (Charms, HOM and DADA) but so far not much conversation has been happening. I'm a bit shy so making friends can be hard for me yet, the moment I arrived at the dorm, I felt like I was home. Lace and Rain were so welcoming when I arrived and everyone has been so nice to me, it already feels like I've known them a lot longer than a day.
Having friends I can rely on for both chatting and help is definitely going to make my Hogwarts experience ten times better. I'm looking forwards to seeing what next week has in store for me.
