Beauxbatons Academy
Chapter 1
Unlike Durmstang I was never invited to the school. It is one of the three largest wizarding schools in Europe. Its location is a in the French Pyrenes. Some of the most notable wizards that have taught and been taught there are: Mr Nicolas Flamel (alchemist) & Mr Luc MilleFeuille (baker). They were also part of the Tri-Wizard Tournament and as a school their focus and skills are etiquette and charms. These are two skills that I am afraid I do not possess at all. I cannot imagine myself as a Beauxbatons student. I would not be the first to be admitted with elvish blood and I would not be the first that had “mixed blood”. As both Fleur and Gabrielle Delacour have Veela blood, and the headmistress Mme Maxine was a giant of a woman.
Perhaps their sorting, saw in me something that was evident to those that knew me. As to what house I was yet to find out.
When I try and imagine myself as a Beauxbatons student I can but laugh. Nothing could have been further from who I was or who I am. I do not make men fall at my feet. If they do, I tell them to stop being so stupid and get up.
I arrived at Hogwarts at the age of five, where I was to live in hiding until the age of seven. At seven I started living in the dungeons and progressed to be with family, and teachers until the age of eleven. So by the age of secondary school I had already been at Hogwarts for four years. Perhaps this for them made it inevitable for me to stay there.
