So on my background story I have a sort of game to guess which Weasley I marry....

Today LEON said that it could be Cedric, and granted I just published a book with us on the front cover which was about when we went to the Quidditch World Cup in 1994, but I found the thought interesting.

IF Cedric Diggory had NOT died in the Triwizard Tournament, what would have happened???

There are many theories about this and from my point of view, I know what things we had planned.
1 - get back together (not that we weren't really together anyway)
2 - Cedric would prepare for his NEWTs

At the time I was sixteen and Cedric seventeen. I was unable to see myself with anyone other than him.
There is however one major downfall. His death marked the rise of Voldemort. My father had come back.
This is something that I don't know how I would have reacted to. I may was not a Slytherin. I may have rebelled.
I was already doing that by sneaking in to see him anyway. Is it possible that the dark lord's daughter would have looked between the two and chosen her boyfriend?

Many theories say that Cedric would have become a Death Eater...
I can see that. After all his girlfriend was the daughter of the Dark Lord, and it is possible that Cedric would have felt pressured into that life. Would he have wanted it? No, but he would have done it for me.

Whichever way you look at it I'm not sure how our relationship could have continued with my father around. It would have changed everything. With my father around I don't see how it could have worked
