Chapter 1
They kill him.
I was there. The news was still shocking for me. The Austro-Hungarian Empire prince was shot down. I still remember seeing the blood trickling on my boots. Franz Ferdinand is dead. War has been declare. The German, the once nation I loved is being corrupted. Parsel they have turn into. I don't want to live here any more. I fear for my safety.
I can see the troop marching toward the western front to Siberia. Germany has now declare war on Russia. The French, is preparing for conflict through an alliance.
Who are they align with?
Now, no more a German, I decide to stay with my French brethren. But alas, safety is only a minimal. Voices echo through my head of general mobilisation. German civilians living in France are asked to leave.
I don't want to leave. I don't want to be German.
I must hide true self as I burn my documents and live in hiding.
I am no longer Wilhelm Günzburg. I will be known as Jean-francois Brizard.
