Scorpius, what can I say about you? I have often been asked about my relationship to you, that is sure. I think that I can only say that I am a cousin? I have known you from before you were born. Known how much of a good person you truly are. We grew up very much as kindred spirits. Perhaps I am the only one that understands the way in which you grew up.

I understand the pressure of having few friends. I know what it is like to lose your mother. I feel the pain of your father when you do stupid things and I feel the sorrow of your mother that she is missing out on so much.
I have had the honour of being so many things in your life and I hope to continue that. I am one of your father’s best friends, I was your mother’s confident and fellow in the world of transfiguration. Your birth gave my cause to marry the man I love and start my family. I have become your professor, your aunt but most of all I hope I am your friend.
