Chapter 1
Election Announcement - The election SO FAR.
Elections end at 10 am central time tomorrow. Here is what the results are SO FAR. Y’all have another day to vote.
There will be three house representatives here are the three that are in the lead so far. These people will represent your house and vote for/against proposals.
Slytherin House rep:
Alita Summers, Alyx Mel, and Annie
Hufflepuff House rep:
Sarah Scamander, Dedra Parker, and Rose Brown
Gryffindor House rep:
Hermione Granger Potter, Hazel Anderson, and Holly Greengrass
Ravenclaw House reps:
Ellie Smith, Wisteria Brown, and Temperance Clancy
The Secretary is next, this is only SO FAR. The secretary will take notes and help organize events, google forms, etc.
Aurora Lovecraft is in front of 50%. The runner up is Hadley Cooper with 16%.
The treasure is next, they will; I actually have no idea since we don’t have any money to spend or need any. So this will be someone else to vote on issues and help out.
Lily Featherligh is in the lead with over 50% but, not too far behind is Kylyn Cooper with 30%
Vice President, is one of the last positions in the student council and the second most important. They will vote on issues, introduce issues, and work directly with the president.
In the lead, we have Samantha Love (that's me) with 43.5% altogether, but not too far behind we have Miley Scamander with 25.9% of the votes it has been a close race so far, and the most intense as the votes are always changing.
The last we have the President this role is pretty self-explanatory so we will jump straight to the election so far.
In the lead, we have Stelvilus Black with 47.7%. It is looking okay for my very own assistant Beezer Granger with 37.2% of the votes.

Interview with Professor Rowan
Hello everyone! Today we have an interview with Professor Rowan! Ten amazing questions and answers that everybody wants to know! Amazing answers about becoming the Herbology teacher, advice for Herbology students, new PA applications, and much much more!
1. How did you become a Herbology Professor?
I worked my way up through the ranks to become a Professor. I first joined Hogwarts when it opened in April 2014. When PA applications first opened about a month later, I immediately applied. I was then promoted to Head Girl in Potions and Herbology but I could only choose one so I became Head Girl of Herbology. I loved both courses so it was a very hard choice. When Year Three was first published, Professor Tudor, the then-current professor of Herbology, asked if I would like to be her co-Professor to which I readily agreed. When Professor Tudor decided to leave HiH in 2017, I was promoted to Herbology Professor.
2. How did you find HIH?
My youngest daughter told me about it when she saw it on a friend’s post on Facebook. When the books first came out, my children were young. I would read a few chapters to them in the evening before bed so my youngest knew I was a big fan of the Harry Potter universe.
3. Aside from Herbology, what subject is your favorite?
I have several favorites - Potions, Ancient Runes, Divination, and Care of Magical Creatures - but if I had to pick one, it would be Ancient Runes.
4. Are you in any dorms, groups, or roleplay?
I am involved in role-playing in The Herbology Slug Club. It is where Herbology students come to plant in the student greenhouse what they’ve learned about in class. I also run the Hospital Wing, as injuries do happen in Herbology.
5. Do you know any founders of HIH?
Yes, I have known the creator of the HiH site and his assistant since 2014.
6. Who’s your favorite Harry Potter character?
My favorite Harry Potter character would have to be Luna Lovegood. She has a way of looking at situations in a very special, magical way.
7. What’s your favorite hobby?
My favorite hobby is working at HiH: grading assignments, talking to the PAs, and the students. Outside of HiH, I like to read, play the piano and harp, glass blowing, and train my service dogs...
8. Any advice for Herbology students?
The advice I would give to students is to take good notes and memorize them in order to receive good grades. Don't start an assignment unless you know the material inside and out.
When writing an essay, first type it onto a google document and then copy and paste it into the submission box. That way if the system goes down, you haven’t lost all the work that you did and have to rewrite it.
9. Is there going to be a PA application for Herbology soon?
There will be no PA application for Herbology in the near future. I have a full team of wonderful PAs who work really hard grading, working in the student greenhouse, and posting on the Hogwarts is Here - Herbology FB page and the HiH Healer Studies FB page. A few even work in the Hospital Wing.
10. Is there anything else you would like to say?
I love HiH and am so thankful that the creator built this site for all of us to enjoy the wizarding world.

The Trolley Witch
- “Anything off the trolley, dears?” advertised the witch displaying her trolley which was full of delicious goods to purchase.
The Trolley witch (born before 1830) was an elderly British witch who was one of the two known crew members on the Hogwarts Express on Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, and the wizarding train on Platform Seven and a Half. She came around during the middle of the journey, pushing the Honeydukes Express, with lots of sweets that you could buy.
The witch was old and slightly hunchback. She was a solemn but kind person, treating and serving all the passengers of the Hogwarts Express equally and kindly.
She was hired around 1830 and was known to have 6 million Pumpkin Pasties. She also revealed to Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy that she discreetly made them into mini grenades and even threw one to prove it.
She said that people never asked what her name was, which she claimed that she herself had forgotten.

Species - Human
Gender - Female
Hair color - Grey
Eye color - Dark
Skin color - White
Magical Abilities and Skills:
Transfiguration: She was able to transfigure her hands into claws to scare Hogwarts students who tried to leave the train.
Charms: She was able to conjure a non-corporeal Patronus a mark of superior magical talent and skill that gave the immense difficulty of performing such an advanced protective charm.
She would become upset when students would try to get off the train and would turn more sinister, transfiguring her hands into claws to scare them, in order for them to sit back in their seats, showing she was fiercely devoted to upholding the rules of the train…..She told Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy that the train does not take too kindly to students trying to get off it before it reaches its destination, and transfigured her hands into claws to scare them…She even warned them forehand that Sirius Black and his cronies and even Fred and George Weasley had tried but failed.
Because of her weird behavior in the Cursed Child, witches and wizards started believing that she was some sort of magical illusion or an incarnation and not an actual living witch.

Fun Fact
Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films, made her very own plumb earrings and showed up to her addition with them! They were so good, she ended up wearing them in the movies, too. It really proves that this actor was cast perfectly for her role of 'Loony' Lovegood!
