YEAR 6 1995-1996:
In my first year at NEWT level I had to make more decisions and opt for any extras. This I had no choice. My uncle had wanted me to learn from the start, so I took Alchemy. I had always wanted to do it anyway, we had learnt a lot in History of Magic and Potions, I also knew my family were skilled in this area. I also continued with Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Defence against the Dark Arts, now with Dolores Umbridge, Herbology & Potions. If anything, I had to be thankful I was getting extra guidance whilst Mme Umbridge was teaching because she refused to teach anything.
YEAR 7 1996-1997:
My final year and I’m pleased to say that I managed to be Head Girl. Something that my father no-doubt found rather amusing. I was taking my Apparition lessons and test which added a lot to the workload, and listened to constant talks about our future careers. Professor Snape had now become Defence against the Dark Arts teacher and I was probably one of the happiest in the school. Professor Horace Slughorn took over in Potions which was not too bad but could have been better. I ended with Os & Es in my NEWTs as well.
