Lily Breezer: The Hogwarts Express had come to a stop. As I walked out of the train, I dropped one of my school books. I didn’t notice until a girl with dark brown hair had walked up to me. She handed me my book, and nodded slowly. “I-i’m Andromeda Jordan.” “But you can call my Jordan; or Andromeda, or- or just Kyra.” “I’d rather you call me Andromeda.” “I’m Lily Breezer.” “So, um, I’ll see you later..” The girl walked away. I brushed the dust of my book that she handed my and I continued forward. “Er, all right!” “All first ‘ears ‘ere!” A man with a large bushy brown beard called out. I walked toward him, and so did everyone else. I saw a glimpse of Andromeda trying to get closer up front in the crowd. “I’m Hagrid, an’ I’m supposed to take y’all first ‘ears across this lake. No pushing or er’ shoving, please-” Hagrid pointed his pink umbrella toward several small boats. Lily sat down in the first one, beside other first years. Andromeda sat down next to Lily, but they rarely made eye contact as they went down the lake. Each and every student didn’t miss an opportunity to see the Giant Squid. When the boat had arrived at the Hogwarts castle; crowds of students rushed inside. Lily didn’t pay attention to the speeches, but when the sorting had started, her eyes were wide open. “First off, Lily Breeze.” Lily turned pale. She walked toward the sorting hat, and Mrs. Mcgonagall placed it on her head. “My, my..” The sorting hat said. “Let’s see here..” Sweat dribbled down Lily’s forehead. “Mm. Hufflepuff it is!” Lily smiled. “Hufflepuff!” Cheers came from many students, but mostly from the Hufflepuff table. She sat down on the seat of the Hufflepuff table. This was by far, the best day of Lily Breezer’s life.
