The Unicorn Realm
Chapter 1
The Unicorn Realm is a group I created, one in which you can role play as one of the most intelligent and magical of the Harry Potter creatures - the unicorn. In the realm, the unicorns are separated into one of four different groups, according to their nature and personality. If you are interested in joining this group,
THE GROUPS
The four groups are an important and crucial feature of the realm to the unicorns in it. The four are as follows:
Nigreos
Nigreos is the group of mischief and power. Here are the unicorns who have mischief as a second nature to them. Unicorns in Nigreos can also be found extremely powerful, with exceptionally substantial amounts of magic. They are also very intelligent, perhaps some of the most resourceful and wise of unicorns. However, due to superstition, they are mistrusted sometimes, as the name of the group literally means "black".
Argenti
Unicorns in Argenti can usually be found observant and quiet. They watch and learn. They are also very loyal, and usually very reassuring and kind. The name of the group is a Latin word meaning "silver", and Argenti is thought to be strongly related to the stars.
Aurum
Aurum - the Latin name literally means gold. Unicorns in Aurum are customarily found dazzlingly beautiful, and are extremely skilled and independent. Occasionally they have been known to be quite critical, but other than that, they are a wonderful friend.
Viridi
Unicorns in Viridi are brave, understanding, and strongly connected to nature, as the name of the group actually means "green". Sometimes they just look at the leaves of a tree or a bluebell sprout for ages, quietly appreciating its existence. However, sometimes they can act without thinking, but otherwise are an amazing group of unicorns.
NAMES
Unicorn's names usually always associate with nature - it can be anything from Frost to Sunlight, Flame to Snow, and so on.
THE POSITIONS
Unicorns have positions in the realm. Here is the list:
Warrior - This is a heavy responsibility, and must be treated with attention and care. Good examples must be shown to the other unicorns, as unicorns in this position have a great influence upon others.
Warrior - Warriors are usually strong, physically skilled unicorns, that train especially hard.
Trainer - A trainer trains the apprentices so they have the skill to become warriors.
Apprentice - An apprentice trains with a trainer (see above) to gain the skill needed to become a warrior.
Nutrix - A Nutrix is usually a female unicorn that watches the young foals and ensures that no predators harm them.
POWERS
As is widely known, Unicorns are magical. However, along with their natural magic, they have additional powers. However, first the natural magic must be listed, which depends on which group the unicorn comes from.
The Natural Powers
The natural powers of a unicorn depend on which group it comes from, as is mentioned above. With Nigreos, the natural magic includes the ability to produce a bolt of lightning from the horn, which will temporarily knock out the target. Meanwhile, the natural magic of Argenti is the capacity to flash out (from the horn) shining silver balls of light, which cause the target to fly backward. With Aurum beams of blinding light appear (from the horn) temporarily blinding the target. Lastly, Viridi can produce long vines that wrap around the target and tightly bind them.
ADDITIONAL POWERS
The additional powers a unicorn might possibly be born with usually relate somehow to their nature, though of course this does not mean that a group's unicorns' powers are all similar. All unicorns are different, no matter what group they are in. The additional powers are listed below.
The Seer Ability
Unicorns with the seer ability are able to look into the future. Depending on their age, how far a unicorn can look into the future varies. If a unicorn was young and a mere foal, they would be able to a look a mere three minutes into the future. As a yearling, they would be able to see ten minutes ahead. As an adult, they would be able to see hours ahead. As an elder, they would be able to see several days ahead. However, some seer unicorns train themselves exceptionally hard so they can see further.
The Healing Ability
The healing ability is when a unicorn can heal one with the mere touch of its horn. Again the amount of healing the unicorn is capable of depends on its age. If it is a foal, it can heal a mere scratch. If it is a yearling, it can heal a gash. If it is an adult, it can heal a severe wound. If it is an elder, it can heal broken bones.
The Swift Ability
The swift ability gives the unicorn exceptional speed. It can run three miles in ten seconds. This is a gifted capacity, as it gives the unicorns with this power exceptional advantage when confronted with the need to run.
