Not long before they all were due to arrive back at school apparently perfect Percy lost his Head Boy badge.

“Taken HB badge…making an adjustment – Fred”

“Louisa, I sent owl to Dumbledore but HB badge has been stolen. See what you can do – Percy”

“Head Boy is now… BIGHEAD BOY!!! – F&G”

“Louisa, do not panic the badge has been found. Please inform Dumbledore. Blame Fred – Percy”

“Taking cars to station, wish you could ride too – George”

The way Percy would say “I must be respected” especially to Fred & George ended with us doing a special dance when he wasn’t looking that included a small salute that only family was probably allowed to get away with. I know my uncle saw us do it at least a couple of times but Percy got so annoying that I think he may have had his own dance for him.

When Percy left Hogwarts, he went to work at the Ministry of Magic and worked for Bartemius Crouch in the Department of International Muggle Cooperation. Two weeks before we all went to the Quidditch World Cup he passed his apparition test. Again, I got messages.

“Hello hope you are well, please let Amos know that Percy will apparate as he passed the test – Arthur”

“Popping Percy Pants!!! – Fred”

“PPP!!! See you soon – George”

“Hi, It’s getting annoying now. Percy is apparating just to get to breakfast! See you soon – Ginny”
