After graduating from
Hogwarts Lily and Raven stayed close. When Lily married James, Raven became
close with Sirius and Remus, but never with Peter, they had never seemed to get
along. Raven always felt Peter was up to no good. Raven joined The Order of
Phoenix with the rest of her friends, and became incredibly close with
Professor Dumbledore and was even called his right hand man. Raven also became
close with Alastor Moody, Kinglsey Shacklebolt, and Alice and Frank Longbottom
who were also Aurors.  When Alice gave
birth to her son Neville she was appointed godmother, around the same time Lily
had Harry, Lily and James had made Sirius and Raven Harry’s godparents. Shortly
after Raven and Sirius had become engaged and decided to wait for after the war
to get married. Raven and Alastor Moody were the Aurors who came to the rescue
of Alice and Frank but were too late. They scared off the Death Eaters by
surprise, and it was then when Raven discovered that Bellatrix Lestrange was
the witch who attacked her and branded her with the word ‘Mudblood.’ Raven being
close to Dumbledore was there when Severus had warned about Voldemort’s plan to
kill Harry. Raven and Dumbledore were the only ones who knew that Severus
became a double agent.  Raven was the
Auror Dumbledore appointed to patrol Godrics Hollow, personally outside the
Potters home, but she kept a distant so no one would know where the Potters
home was.
