Raven was taken to
the train station by an orphanage nun, she was dropped off and was left to find
her way. She pushed her luggage cart in front of her with her trunk and her
bird cage on top. She walked to platform 9 and platform 10 and then looked
around for platform 9 ¾ to find nothing. She sighed worried; she wouldn’t find
it and miss the train. Raven was then tapped on the shoulder by a young boy her
age with brown hair. “You run through the brick wall in between Platform 9 and
10.” The pay said with a soft smile. Raven smiled back. “Thank you.” She said
happily. “I’m James Potter. Watch me.” He said pushing his luggage cart to the
brick wall, running at it and then disappearing through it.  Raven gasped and then followed behind him.
She put her trunk where it needed to go and then her bird, she boarded the
train. She looked for an empty seat and then was called by a boy with strangely
wild curly hair, but a charming face and a sweet smile in her opinion. “Sit
with us.” He said. Raven walked to him to find James, Lily, Severus, the boy
with the wild hair, and two others in a compartment sitting. Raven later found
out the other two boys were Remus Lupine and Peter Pettigrew and the one with
the hair was Sirius Black. On the train Raven learned about the four houses
Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. She then learned the
difference between Muggleborns and there horrible nickname Mudblood, Halfbloods
and Purebloods. When the train finally arrived at Hogwarts Raven had learned a
lot. Lily and Severus had left the compartment angry at the four boys for their
rude behavior.  When they got off the
train the first years were called to Hagrid, who is the gamekeeper.  The first years took a boat ride to Hogwarts
and then were taken to the great hall where they waited for Professor
McGonagall.
