you know everything I know. I was never a good student but I know how to be one. follow my advice and maybe make up some on your own. but above anything else. have fun. Hogwarts is a place of learning yes but as the muggle saying goes "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy". Which means you need to have fun a bit some times. just do so when it is appropriate.
