I would have not spent much time with the book. I would only have written in it to get information about my parents.

I imagine that this could have changed the course of events dramatically.

In the end I think that Ginny Weasley would have found the diary.

It was a book that wanted to be found and drew in people. I was not a person that it wanted or was able to be drawn in.

I was very involved with my first crush and my notions towards the book were simply to look at something that my father had owned.

She may even have started writing in it at the same time as me.

Then Harry would have found it and managed to destroy not only the diary but the memory too.
