Ginny sat up in her four-poster bed that night, waiting for the time she could go to the Black Lake. Putting on her slippers she exited the Gryffindor dorm, and headed outside. I stopped by the lake, looking around for my admirer. Suddenly, I saw a face peek out of the water. Who knows how cold that water was? Then, I noticed the white hair. "Draco?!?" I exclaimed. Even in the dark of the night, I noticed him blushing. " It was you?!" I asked. He nodded. " Ginny... I love you." I stared at him, and then my heart spoke for me. " I love you too Draco." Draco smiled. " Come on in!" He said. " Are you kidding? Aren't you freezing?" I said. " Not really," he answered. Before I could answer, he pulled me in the lake. I shrieked in surprise. He laughed, and my heart jumped. He ran a finger through my hair. Slowly, I was pulled closer to him. His lips touched mine, and I found myself kissing him back.


I went to the lake earlier that night. I pulled off my shirt and jumped in the water. Then, I noticed a figure moving towards me. Ginny, I thought. I poked my head out of the water so she would know I was there. "Draco?!?" She yelled. I blushed, hoping she wouldn't see. " It was you?" I nodded, then said what I had wanted to say for almost my whole life. " Ginny... I love you." She stared at me, and I regretted this. What if she didn't like me, and embarrassed me in front of all the Slytherins!! Then she said, "I love you too Draco." My heart almost leaped out of my chest. " Come in!" I told her. " Are you kidding? Aren't you freezing?" "Not really," I lied. I was! Before she could answer, I pulled her into the water. She shrieked out in surprise, and I laughed. I ran a finger through her sweet smelling, beautiful hair. I slowly pulled her close to me, my heart beating fast. I touched my lips to hers, and she kissed me back.
