Chapter 2:
The Mystery

Akira woke up in the gryffindor girls room, She rubbed her head, She groaned as the sun from the window peaked into the room and fell onto Akira's face, She stood up and grumbled, "Ugh..." She mumbled, She saw everyone else's beds made and there was nobody there, Her eyes widened as she checked the time, "You're kidding me right!" She yelled and tried to run and change and get things done at the speed of light, But...That seemed to fail when she tripped and fell off of her bed, She groaned, "I have the...Worst luck," She stated, She got up and changed into her robes quickly, She rummaged through a few drawers trying to find her tie. She skittered toward the door and opened it hurriedly, She ran out running, She was in the school grounds now, If she turned there would be the courtyard, And she was trying to find the right class, But she couldn't recognize which class was which because her brain wasn't working properly for whatever reason, Actually, There was a reason why; She had stayed up in the night studying reading which was not very Akira, So she didn't have that much sleep which caused her to be really sleepy.

She ran and looked at the walls looking at the doors passing by, When she turned back to where she was going, Squinting, But suddenly, She fell down when she had bumped into someone, She itched her head and stood up, Without being able to say sorry and look up to the person, She heard a snappy voice, "Watch where you are going!" The girl said putting her hands on her hip, From that words, Akira heard the girl have the audacity to speak like that to Akira, Which the girl probably didn't know due to her being new and probably just a random puny student to the girl, Or at least that is what she had guessed.
She looked up to the girl who made her angry, There stood a girl with sharp green eyes, Long wavy black hair in a ponytail, Her raising an eyebrow as she had her pale hands on her hips, Then she saw a green snake slither around her neck and came into sight, As the girl still was looking at her sharply waiting for an answer, "Sorry missy, Did I hurt your feelings?" Akira said sarcastically, The girl grimaced in disgust, "And what do you we have here? A muggle-born new student?" She chuckled cunningly, "Well well well, What a day." The girl said in a British accent, The girl fixed her tie and straightened her back more, And tilted her head, "Have anything else to say mud-blood?" The words had triggered Akira. Her blood boiled hearing this brat, "Shut up before you face the consequences!" Akira roared, The girl didn't fidget from Akira's exact words, But instead laugh, She just stood there, In her point of view Akira was just really trying, "Right, First, You don't scare me whatsoever." The girl said and looked at her nails, "Second, You are really trying with all of your effort, And it won't help--" She said when Akira growled and held onto the girl's collar of her robes, Then the girl finally took notice of her true burning anger.
Haruto was walking out of the class that Akira missed, She saw Akira holding onto a slytherin girl's collar, He widened his eyes, "Akira!" He cried out, Akira looked at the person who called her name with Haruto's voice, She saw Haruto running towards her, She then dropped the girl and she fell to the ground, Her ponytail swaying from the fall, "Stop." Haruto panted to Akira, Akira raised an eyebrow, "How will i? She has the freaking audacity to talk to be in that type of manner?" She raised her voice, Haruto calmed her down by rubbing her back, "It's fine, It's gonna be okay, I know you have anger issues, But if you really dislike this girl, Why waste your time on her?" He said to Akira, Akira calmed down, "But still! Just--Just, Ugh!" She growled and stormed off. Leaving the girl to look up at Haruto almost in gratefulness, She stood up and fixed her robes and then put her head back high and her face became stern again, "Hmph." She said and turned around, Her ponytail turning a big rough turn hitting Haruto's face, "Ow." He said quietly, He rolled his eyes and ran after Akira.

Akira was in the courtyard sitting down on the marble sitting area which behind was the fountain water, Akira was sitting there hugging her legs as she turned to the complete other side Haruto was running to and trying to find Akira, Haruto found her and ran up to her, "Akira.." He said softly, "I am sorry, I am sure she didn't mean to say anything, You know--She said." Haruto said unsure of what she had said since he wasn't even there to hear what this 'brat girl' was saying to make Akira this angry. Akira breathed in and out heavily, "Leave me alone!" She yelled which frightened Haruto and made him jump, Haruto sighed and shook his head and turned away walking away slowly. Akira suddenly felt bad, "Why did i say that? It was too harsh.." She muttered to herself, She sighed and stood up and played with her black hair, She closed her eyes and sat down on a bench and pulled out her journal, She started to write down things in Japanese.

Meanwhile, Haruto walked away itching his arm hurt from the words coming from Akira, But he knew better then just be emotional about it, He knew Akira, And he wouldn't even be that hurt even if she did mean it, Because he knew he would somehow find a way to fix things up even though. He spot the girl he had seen the day before, Aria. He ran up to her, "Oh hey Haruto!" Aria said kindly, "Hey...Well, This Slytherin girl made Akira upset...And now she is upset to me and she won't speak to me, Maybe you can help me in any way?" He asked desperately, Aria looked a bit surprised but not that surprised, "Well, I mean, I can help! What do you need specifically help in?" She asked and tilted her head, "Primarily just cheering her up," Haruto explained, Aria nodded and clenched her chin, "I'll see what i can do! You should probably get back to you know--Hogwarts." She chuckled and then walked away, Haruto sighed in relief, "Great!" He exclaimed. Suddenly, In the glimpse of his eye, He saw a silhouette of a shadowy figure running around very fast, Haruto looked around, Suddenly another gush of wind blew on some leaves on the ground indicating more fast running from the figure. Haruto pulled out his wand, And at the right time he yelled, "Stupify!" And then there was a thump, He ran up to the person and there was a cloaked and masked person there with gloves on, So every part of the body was covered up, The person was breathing heavily, With extra measures, "Petrificus totalus." He said in fear, The person froze, He looked around, And then started to try and drag the person who specifically light surprisingly. He didn't know if the person was a female or a male. Some students saw him and gasped, "Help me!" He said, He had explained the situation, And they had helped him drag the person, They managed to bring him to Professor Dumbledore, He looked at the person, And Professor Mcgonagall looked at Haruto and disbelief, "Who may you think this is?" Dumbledore whispered to Mcgonagall, Haruto stood there a bit scarred. Mcgonagall whispered back, "Students, You may go back to business, We will deal with this ourselves." He said in his pleasant tone. Haruto nodded and walked out, The students who had helped them went their separate ways, While Haruto didn't know what to do, He decided to do his own stuff. Haruto had gotten the news that Aria would be busy for today so that she had promised him that tomorrow she'll help him sort things right.

It had turned nighttime, Everyone was going to bed, Including Haruto, And so was Akira but she had already fell asleep. Haruto tried to go to sleep but it didn't seem to be working. He suddenly heard some talking of the voices of the professors, The indistinct chatter continued, Haruto stood up and went up to the door curiously, "This is a very serious case, What will we do Albus?" Mcgonagall asked Professor Dumbledore, "I am not sure, It is indeed a serious case. All i can think of is to tell all the students to leave Hogwarts." Dumbledore said, Mcgonagall nodded, "Hogwarts is not safe." That words confused Haruto, Was it about the person? He was confused, But interested nonetheless. Suddenly, An eldritch scream came from the gryffindor boys room, Which Haruto was in, So he heard it loud and clear, He covered his mouth as his eyes were wide open, He jumped into his bed and looked like he had just woken up from the scream like everybody else in the room had did, The professors hurried inside the room, Another student walked, And from their own scream, It sounded horrified, The professors gasped very loudly. A few students wanted to see but the professors pushed them away slightly and circled the thing they had seen. Haruto was very confused of what was going on, But the lights were on and his eyes were not very used to it since he had been in the dark the whole time, Which made him super confused but still very scarred from the scream. It happened so fast but before he knew it there was a lot of talking, More like whispering and gossiping, Professors running around, It looked very out of place but something BAD must have happened.
Haruto looked around in complete curiosity and fear, He was so shocked and confused, He had no idea what was going on, He wasn't prepared for such sudden things, That had seemed to be very important.
