Nada means nothing
Chapter 6
None of the friends fell asleep that night. They'd been up practising with Evan for the tournament. He had a plan, he was going to steal Cedric's idea. The friends convinced themselves that it wasn't cheating because Cedric wasn't even in the tournament. Ella sprinted down for breakfast the latest, she reached the others at 4:20.
"You couldn't sleep either?" Eloise asked.
"Nada," Ella replied.
"Nada means nothing," Lebron said.
"Really? I didn't know," Ella said sarcastically. Evan mouthed haha.
"Ready to fight a dragon?" Lucas screamed. James frantically clasped his hand over Lucas' mouth.
"You don't want to wake up the whole castle, and we're not supposed to know about the dragons," James said.
"So?" Lucas said.
"So we don't want them to think we cheated!" Rhianna said.
"We?" Evan inquired. Rhianna punched his shoulder.
"We're a team," Rhianna said. "The eight of us."
All of the friends smiled and then began eating breakfast.

Evan paced around the tent. He was very nervous because after all dragons in muggle tales were very scary.
"Evan," a voice from outside the tent hissed. "Evan, are you there?"
"Yeah," Evan whispered back. Their faces were practically touching from either side of the tent wall.
"Remember the plan," she said.
"Yup, turn rock into dog then collect egg, easy," Evan said sarcastically. On the other side, Ella let out a nervous laugh. "Be careful," Ella said as she turned to walk away.
"Like I said, it's easy, there'll be no need to be careful," Evan said with heavy sarcasm.
"Don't get cocky," Ella warned jokingly. "Bye."
"Bye," Evan said back. He went and sat on the bed waiting for the people in charge of the tournament to come.
************************************************************************************************************************ "And Evan Perez is up!" Bagman shouted. Evan walked with confidence he didn't have as he turned to face his Swedish Short-Snout. It's scaly blue skin against the pink-tinted sky was terrifying. Evan looked around for a rock and non-verbally transfigured it into a dog. The dog had a striking resemblance to Padfoot. Evan didn't let this distract him as he located the golden egg. While the dragon was turned away, he lunged forward and grabbed the egg.
"Very quick victory for Mr Perez, I can see him going far in this competition," Bagman commented. The crowd whooped and cheered, waking Jocelyn up with a start.
"What did I miss?" she asked groggily.
"Oh, only Evan getting past his dragon," Eloise said. The friends in the stands laughed.
"Evan did well," Hermione said. The seven friends nodded, all filled with pride for their friend. They looked up to see the scores from each judge.
Dumbledore-10
Maxime-10
Karkaroff-6
Bagman-10
Crouch-10
"Well karkaroff's a tad biased," Lucas observed.
"Never!" Jocelyn said sarcastically. They all laughed.
"He did brilliantly considering," Ella said.
