A Tower

Chapter 30
A long time ago, I spent many years travelling across unique lands. Every now and then, I came to a tower. Some were made of stone with bits falling off, others were made of metal, standing strong and sturdy.

One tower looked different than any I had seen before. Bright blue torches illuminated the path leading to it, sparkling gracefully like the millions of stars packed tightly together in the sky above it, which were only found in ancient universes with ancient stars.

It was made of smooth sandstone slabs and had giant windows made of beautiful stained glass with peculiar striped patterns. The colours varied from pink to blue, to red to green, to white to purple.

Inside, standing tall on the stone bricks, was an intricately designed purple and black shrine, with sandstone details that magnificently complimented the tower’s bricks. It let off an almost enchanting glow that swirled around the room like confetti at a wedding.

Looking up, I could see a gorgeous domed roof made of glass, showing off the luminescent moon in all its glory. Long lanterns enclosed in glass ran up the inside of the tower, creating a golden light throughout the chamber.

It truly looked fantastic.
