Dear mother and father,

I have successfully arrived at Hogwarts and I have been sorted into Gryffindor. I am having so much fun.

 You will never guess what happened during my transfiguration lesson with Professor Godric Gryffindor. I produced a proper Quillioxous charm and I turned a quill into a perfect box with wrapping paper and everything. I opened the box and found five chocolate frogs from my Professor. I am eating one now whilst I write to you.

How are you?  I hope that Bathilda is alright and that she is starting to sleep properly now. she is such a cute baby sister. I have met a boy named Phineas Nigellus Black. He is very intelligent but he is in Slytherin much to my disappointment.

I do not like charms and I am finding potions annoying. I keep mixing up Porcupine spikes with abnormally large snake fangs.
