Oh no thought Alanna as she turned into a corridor bustling with all different students heading in completely different  directions. Maybe if I pretend to be sick I won't have to go.

"Oh, Alanna, I thought that you were going to bail out on this lesson!", Said Godric, surprising her so much she jumped about a foot in the air. Obviously not, Alanna concluded in her mind. As she walked into the classroom everyone went quick and she heard people whispering about her and saying things like...

"There's the half-squib,"

"Ew, she has the face like my uncle he is a squib too." , she heard a Slytherin girl say.

"Alright everybody, please turn to page 231 of you text books." Godric called, silencing the class. as they turned the pages, one by one, Godric asked for two volunteers. All of the class put their hands up except for the Slytherins.

"Okay let me see I will have Bruce come up and Alanna,please.", He said getting a look of fear from Alanna. Knowing that she would be horrible and probably turn one of her peers into an old donkey, she stepped up anyway getting a look of pride and pleasure from Godric but a look of angst from Bruce.

" I would like you two to turn the quill in front of you into a box,", he said.

Okay breathe in and out. Alanna was shaking and so was Bruce.

"On three. One, two, three." He said. Bruce managed to turn his into a history book but Alanna stood on the spot,frozen in fear. 

"Alanna, please cast the following spell,", he said, getting sniggers all around the class room,"Quilliuoxous."

"Sir, I don't think..", she muttered.

"Nonsense, you will be able to do it I assure you.", he said back in a whisper, so only she could here him.

"Okay, quilliuoxous." She cried. Right before her eyes lay the perfect box covered in special wrapping paper.Yes,Yes,Yes!  I did it mother and father will be so proud, she thought to herself grinning as she did. As soon as she got to her common room she settled into a cozy corner and wrote letter to her parents,not knowing that she was being watched.
