Seriously America?

Chapter 1
Im guessing most kids don't know about how America treated Filipinos. Let me tell you, America covers everything up. They were treated worse than black people and slaves. First of all, lets start from the beginning of how America was a jerk to the Philippines. America and Spain were at war, and at the time, Spain was in control of the Philippines. So of course the Philippines decided to help America win. What they didnt know is that America was planning to take over the Philippines once they won. And America won the war against Spain. Filipinos thought they were free. They weren't. When they found out America was taking over, naturally, they fought back. And America didn't like this. So you know what Americans did? They put filipinos in concentration camp. They even had a special torture for them called Water Cure. Think that sounds good cause its a "cure"? Its not. Its when Americans shove bamboo pipes down their throats and pour gallons of water into them. Less that half of the victims survived. Next up, Filipinos came to America to be free. And of course America discriminated. There would be signs every where that said "Postitivly No Filipinos Allowed." And they made fun of Filipinos in their newspapers, calling us (Im Filipino) "savages." Now here's another horrible thing America did: They put Filipinos in Zoos. They didn't get payed for it either. They rounded us up and put us in an enclosure. They even tied a little Filipina's girl's hand to pole so she could stay still. There is so much more America did. Just to top all of this off, they whitewashed us. They made us believe that white skin was better. So even now, my grandparents will have me and my brother stay inside, so we don't get too dark.
