Under the Full Moon (in progress)
written by Annabeth Katniss Potter
Valarie Lupin liked to think she was PERFECTLY normal. Well, sorta. If you count being a werewolf as normal. Her brother Remus was five when he was attacked by Fenrir Greyback. Valarie was attacked as well. Remus had started his 2nd year when she came to Hogwarts. What will people say when they find out about Valarie's tragic flaw? This is in progress.

Chapter 1
"Ahhhh," five-year-old Remus Lupin yawned. "I tired!"
"I tired too," exclaimed Valarie Lupin, Remus's four-year-old sister. "Mummy?"
The siblings' mum entered the room.
"Yes?" she asked.
"Where Daddy," asked Valarie unhappily, "he forgot give me kiss-kiss!"
"Yeah!" chimed in Remus.
"Sweeties, Daddy is at the Ministry tonight."
"Why?" Valarie demanded.
"Kids," Mrs. Lupin removed her glasses in a weary way, "Daddy is... is... well... um... okay. Daddy has been upset about the growing threat of... werewolves." She ended the last word in a whisper.
"Ohh!!" screamed Remus and Valarie at the same time; Valarie literally fell out of her bed.
"Scary, scary!" exclaimed Valarie, looking really worried.
"Shh, shh," said Mrs. Lupin, stroking her children's hair. "It's fine nothing bad will happen to you."
How very wrong she was.
Why Mr. Lupin was late coming was because he was insulting a werewolf named Fenrir Greyback. This greatly angered the werewolf; it was a full moon that night. Greyback was an unusual man. A usual werewolf HATES their transformations; Greyback loved them. He loved killing people. So he decided to get payback on Mr. Lupin. By attacking his children.
Greyback positioned himself by the children's bedroom window that was open, just like he had hoped. Mr. Lupin had come home by this time.
The moon came out.
Greyback transformed and climbed through the window.
Valarie was attacked first; followed by Remus. They both screamed as loud as they could possibly scream.
Mr. Lupin ran as fast as he could to their room.
"Avada Kadavra!!!" he screamed, pointing his wand at the werewolf.
Greyback dodged the flying spell; Mr. Lupin jumped out the window and (just as he had hoped) the werewolf followed him.
Mr. Lupin chased Greyback for a while. At last, one of the curses knocked the werewolf out until morning.

"Are they all right?" Mr. Lupin asked.
The family was at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
The doctor shook his head sadly and said, "They will be werewolves... forever."
Mrs. Lupin was sobbing; Mr. Lupin was talking to the doctor about taking the special precautions for the children's transformations. Then he went to Mrs. Lupin.
"Isabel," he said soothingly, "They'll be all right."
