"Emily, I have something to say. Some grave news."
I droop and slump. I know what's coming, and from Cedric's position next to me, so does he.
"Charlotte hasn't made it."
My eyes brim with tears and my legs give way. I can just about make out tears in Cedric's eyes but I don't say anything... I can't...I'm gone... I'm broken. It takes all the effort I have to stand up and head to my room. When I get there, I lie down on Charlotte's bed, not knowing if I'll ever get up from it. Everything takes effort. I can't feel anything. Surely I should be in immense pain but I feel nothing. Nothing. I'm completely numb. As I curl up into the fetal position, I don't feel like I'll ever leave it again.
All I can think is it's all my fault

AN: Please don't hate me. Charlotte was my favourite character and I don't know what made me do it but I felt Emily needed some kind of loss. Sad Emily :(
