"Ginny, no!" I say to her. She's got this diary and she's going to write to it. I don't know what it is but I have a bad feeling about it. I think she needs to get rid of it. "Set fire to it! Put it in the bin! Anything, just don't write to it!"
"Emily, you're being ridiculous!" she says and opens it up. She grabs a quill and starts to write to it.
"Well, at least tell me when you're going to write and I'll be there too," I say. I really don't like the sound of this.
"Deal," she says.

She writes: Hello, my name is Ginny Weasley
The ink dissolves and I have a sinking feeling in my gut that I hope is wrong. It's not. As I suspected he writes back: Hello Ginny. I'm Tom Riddle, could you tell me a bit about yourself?
She writes back, much to my horror: I am 11 years old and going to start Hogwarts next week. My family are all Gryffindors but I'm scared I won't live up to their expectations. My best friend is called Emily Potter. Yes! The famous Emily Potter! I have a crush on her little brother who's a year older than me. He won't ever like me though.
Tom writes back: You sound like an amazing girl, I'm sure that Harry Potter will like you one day.
Ginny sends back: Thanks Tom! Anyway, I have to go now. I'll write again soon, okay?
Tom answers: I look forward to it.

"Ginny," I say. "You aren't to write to him anymore, okay?"
"I'll write to him whenever I want, he's my friend!" she answers. I try to snatch the book out of her hands but she holds firmly onto it. She snarls, "Don't."

This one's quite short so, sorry about that. Also, just saying, could people stop advertising in the library? I don't mean to sound rude but its irritating when people's actual books get pushed down because of "join this group!". I hope you understand and people will stop doing it.
