It's a pity Slytherins are so hated, we would be the most loyal friends if others would just TRY to accept us.

Slytherins are the ones who dream. We paint even though we never learned how. We are the ones who keep journals and write poetry. We ask others to tell us a story. We stare at the clouds and watch them form shapes, unmindful of the grass prickling against our elbows. We are the ones who stay awake long after everyone else has fallen asleep. We read books, and newspapers, and anything they can get our hands on. We wish on stars, eyelashes, and birthday candles, and our eyes gleam whenever someone mentions one of our passions. We are the ones who like to watch trees grow: from saplings to guardians of the forest. We will study maps for hours on end. We close our eyes when we listen to music, and our thoughts are full of color. We are the ones who find hope in life.

Slytherins aren't evil people. Like Dumbledore said "It maters not what someone is born but what they grow to be".
We aren't evil, you have that part wrong, we're ambitious, cunning, resourceful, shrewd, and determined.

Okay, point is, don't hate us Slytherins because of what our parents did. It makes you just as bad as them.
