Basic Rules Of Magic
Chapter 2
In order to perform a spell, hex, jinx, curse, or charm, you must first have a wand or staff. For beginners, the wand is recommended, as staffs can be difficult to carry or may overpower your strength. Advanced wizards and witches may be able to use magic without a wand or staff, and perform it with empty bare hands. However, that is for advanced wizards, and is not recommended for a beginner to practice their magic by.
The basic rules for magic are:
*Use a wand, staff, or if advanced and experienced, with bare hands.
*Say the incantation clearly.
*Make the required wand movement.
*Avoid magic that can permanently effect the enemy.
*Never use the Unforgivable Curses, as this may result the caster to be thrown to Azkaban.
That is the basics of using magic, and remember these simple rules, as these may greatly support you in magic at some point.
