each day, harry and Hermione got closer together, and on the last day of school, hermione and harry agreed to go to the dance together. on the day of the dance, harry stood in the middle of the great hall, which had been beautifully decorated, waiting for his partner. suddenly, Hermione walked down the stairs in the most beautiful dress at the ball.
harry could barely speak as they danced and danced, hermione rested her head on harry's shoulder, and they hugged.
soon, the ball was over- it was the last night a hogwarts until theyt would leave to go home for 6 weeks. hermione and harry kissed and went back up to their dorms, blushing.

it was midnight, and harry woke with a start as he heard the dormitory door creak open, and a piece of paper slip under the crack in the door. harry got up, the letter was addressed to him. he opened it, and realised it was from hermione. it read;

dear harry,
meet me at the potions lab in 5 minutes.
