I Fall Off Of A Swing In Front Of My Mom

Chapter 2

You would think that swinging wouldn't be dangerous, right? Well you were wrong. It was such a sad day when I fell off of a swing at the playground. I view myself as one of the smarter people in this world, so I learned to swing on my own at the age of 2. I went to the park with my mom (yes, she witnessed it) and I went on the swing BY MYSELF. I was sticking my tongue out at the fat boy being pushed by his parents next to me when suddenly I reached my foot out to kick him and missed. I flailed around helplessly and landed on my side. Some of you might say this is karma, but believe me it's not. How was I supposed to know any better? Anyway, when I fell, the boy LAUGHED at me. What a cruel, heartless boy! He makes me ashamed of the human race. Then, my mom walked up and I was thinking to myself Ha! that stupid boy! Now my mom's going to yell  at you!, but she didn't! She just walked right over and laughed at me too! Not only did she do that, she shouted for the whole world to see, "look everyone, my daughter fell off the swing! What a loser!" At that point, I burst into tears. Furthermore, I look even uglier when I cry! Since I'm allergic to salt water, my face puffs up like a big red balloon that's almost at the point of popping and hives pop out all over my body. I pretty much turn into a basketball with legs. So, if you were ever wondering why there were emergency helicopters hovering over New York, that's why.
