Wizarding World Life Hacks
1. In the Wizarding World in Universal Studios, Orlando, and Hollywood, you can actually cast 16 secret spells! You could cast one at Scribbulus Writing Implements, by pointing your wand at the Marauder's Map and performing a triangle motion with your wand! You could also do one at Slug and Jiggers Apothecary. You can move the dragon’s poop by doing a clockwise motion with your wand than a line at the center to release a smell. Beside it, you can point at the flower with an “h” movement using your want for it to bloom.
2. Did you know you can get your actual mail delivered through owl post?? All you need to do is purchase a postcard, write a note, and right before sending it out, your latter will be stamped with the official Hogsmeade postmark!!
3. Remember the furry little Arnold? Well, you can now purchase a Pygmy Puff from Zonko’s Joke shop or Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, and if you want this moment to be even more special, you can ask one of the staff for a naming ceremony!! Unnecessary, but it makes the whole experience a whole lot better! You’ll also be reminded that your Pygmy Puff needs to be fed spiders, ear wax, and boogers to stay alive.
4. Did you know you can also have your own private tour of the Hogwarts castle? Now you can!! Before or after you ride Harry Potter and the forbidden journey, approach a ride attendant for a castle tour. Sometimes this tour is only available around the quieter and low peak seasons, but it never hurts to ask!
5. Did you know there is a secret drink menu?? At hopping pot and Hog’s Head of the pub, you can order A Deathly hallows, which is a concoction of Strongbow cider, layered with Wizard’s Brew and a layer of Dragon Scale. It sounds horrific, but it is so good! there is also Hog’s tea and Pear Dazzle (vodka and pear cider) at Hog’s and Fire Whiskey.
6. In Orlando, when guests visit the Vanishing cabinet at Borgin and Burkes, they’ll hear a bird chirping inside the wardrobe. Other magical things you may find are a Boggart Trapped in a trunk or a Horseless carriage by the Hogwarts Train Platform.
7. Did you know you can ACTUALLY get sorted into your Hogwarts house?? All you need to do is head over to Filch’s
Emporium of Confiscated Goods, simply take a seat and put on the sorting hat. It’ll place you in the house you TRULY belong in!!

A COVID Story: Staying Positive
Many people's lives are VERY different now, because of the pandemic. Many people have to move or maybe can't leave their houses. Sometimes during this pandemic, you may just want to lie on your bed and cry. That's okay. Sometimes, you may be really sad all the time, and not want to do anything. But the most important thing is, you find a way out. This is how I was feeling after my mom died of the virus. But really, I should thank the coronavirus. Being home alone really helped me as a person. I discovered new things that I liked, and new things to discover. I also discovered that if you read nonstop, you can finish the whole Harry Potter book series in a week! (With no sleep). I have discovered that I really like origami. I’ve also discovered that if you look up at the sky, you see wonderful things. I found out that I was good at biking, and I really like it too! I started to pay more attention to my surroundings, and the people and things in it. so, if you are ever feeling sad, or even miserable, try something new, or maybe look up at the sky. You'll be much happier.

FUN FACT
Do you have a favorite part of the Harry Potter books? Well, this is J.K. Rowling’s:
Somewhere in the distance, they could hear Peeves zooming through the corridors singing a victory song of his own composition:
‘We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter’s the One, And Voldy’s gone moldy, so now let’s have fun!’
‘Really gives a feeling for the scope and tragedy of the thing, doesn’t it?’ said Ron, pushing open a door to let Harry and Hermione through.
