Chapter 10
The six conscious and safe friends, the two boys from the golden trio and Lockhart were all down in the chamber. Well, Lockhart's body was but his mind (if he even had one that is) was not. His memory charm that he'd attempted on Lucas had backfired; rubble and stones had fallen and Lockhart lost his memory. The rubble had separated the large group. Harry, James and Lucas were on one side, while the others were stuck on the other.
"If you guys shift some rock, we'll go to find the girls," Harry said. Rhianna nodded solemnly and then, upon remembering that they couldn't see her, said yes.
"We'll send Lucas back if anything happens," James added.
"Why me?" Lucas whined.
"Because you're ridiculously energetic, therefore probably the fastest and have the loudest voice. And the others are actually useful to this situation," Jocelyn sighed.
"Oh yeah!" Lucas cried in realisation. Then he started dancing around. "YEEEEEEEET!"
The three boys walked around slowly until they reached around door. The friends who were left behind and Ron shared worried glances. Questions were flooding all of their minds but nobody dared voice them. They couldn't lose hope. They got to work on moving the rocks.
"So, who am I?" Lockhart asked. The children looked at each other exasperatedly.
"Uhh... You're our teacher Professor Locky," Lebron said snarkily.
" Locky? Ooh. I like my name. Did you say I was a teacher?" he asked while the children were looking up in attempt to stifle their giggles.
"Yep," Evan said in a very strained voice.
"I expect I was hopeless," he sighed.
"You got that one right," Rhianna muttered. None of the children could hold it in any longer, they burst out laughing. It was good for them though, they'd spent so much time worrying about all this chaos that they hadn't had proper fun in ages.
"Guys!" Lucas called frantically. All of their ears perked up and they stood up quickly.
"What is it?" they all asked.
"LMAO! You should have seen how worried you guys were!" Lucas said.
"What did you come for?" Evan asked. Evan had very little patience for Lucas and here Lucas was pushing it very far.
"Oh yeah! There's a massive snake following the boys," he said. The trapped members of the party sighed in frustration. They knew there was nothing they could do to help their friends as they were trapped.
