It had been three weeks and was the day before the ball. Cinderella was even more annoyed but for two reasons. The King wasn't dead yet from the flesh and the ball was being spoken of everywhere Cinderella went. She hated everything about it. The dresses, the fireworks, the expensive makeup, and the /prince/. They were all talking about the /prince/. It was awful, Cinderella thought of killing the prince like she had killed her sister many times. 'Have faith in your dreams and someday' she mouthed while scrubbing the floors. 'Your rainbow will come smiling through' just then though her step mother came down, murdered by the loss of her only true daughter. Cinderella smiled to herself as her step mother walked down the stairs. She ignored Cinderella who kept working.
'She will be dead soon' Cinderella thought before cleaning up and locking herself in her room. Cinderella walked around the round room. The walls were made of wood that you could only see if you took down the pictures. The pictures were of Cinderella's father and other family. Red yarn connected the pictures and black marker covered her step mothers face. Cinderella smiled sadly as she traced the outline of her fathers face, her own self sitting in his lap.
'No matter how your heart is grieving If you keep on believing The dream that you wish will come true' she mouthed, not singing, but more speaking. "ELLA." her step mothers voice screeched from down stairs. An arrow of fear shot through Cinderella but died a second later as she stepped out side her room and went to her step mother.
