Train
Chapter 2
After a while all anyone was talking about on the train was Harry Potter. It was nice to be away from all the attention, but I couldn’t help but think that it would come at a price. Lee Jordan had a tarantula that I went to see with Fred and George and I met up with Leanne, Alice and Cedric. When we got to Hogwarts we went and sat at our tables and waited for the first years to come in. You can’t help but look people up and down and attempt to work out what house they will be in. It becomes second nature. It seemed Harry, like me, had made friends with a Weasley and a few others on the train. I looked over at my uncle and Professor Dumbledore and nodded, I had done as they had asked and every table was asked to keep a good distance at the end of the table.
I tried to hide away from everyone but Percy was getting every one in perfect prefect order. I sat next to Fred, who was boasting to Lee about all the things he had told Ron about the sorting process. Some of it was cruel but most of it was hilarious. We got several people come over to the Gryffindor table, even a Hermione Granger, who I thought was going to be a Ravenclaw. We gave all gave Harry a big welcome cheer and several people started chanting “We got Potter! We got Potter!” blame Fred and George. I felt sorry for him, it must have all been a bit overwhelming for him. I remember him almost doing a double take on me. “Haven’t I seen her somewhere?” Everyone was talking a lot to the new students, then Professor Dumbledore gave an unusual speech, saying that the third-floor corridor was out of bounds.
